Dear Brethren,
I am reaching out to request your help on Mother's Day, May 10th. We are planning to hold a joint Nursery, Junior Primary and Senior Primary on Mother's Day. There will be no lessons and the women instructors in Nursery and Primary will be invited to attend a meeting with the Young Women and Relief Society in the cultural hall under the direction of the Bishopric.
The men will be dividing into 3 groups during the 2nd hour. Group 1 and Group 2 will decorate cookies for all the women in the ward. Group 3 will be a small number of men who will be invited by the Bishopric to help serve the women in the cultural hall.
Group 1 (Ron Day)
Where? Meet in the Primary Room.
When? Please come to the Primary Room soon after Sacrament Service is over (11:00 am to Noon).
Who?
All young men and older men who have young children in Nursery or Primary.
All male Primary teachers.
What? The young men and older men with young children will decorate cookies for the young women and the mothers of children who attend Primary. Each Primary child will also decorate a card for their mothers. Some children will start making cards and the other children will start decorating cookies. I will assign them by class or by counting after the opening prayer.
